​I view gender as separate from anatomy, and recognise more than two genders. When I use the terms “woman/feminine” or “man/masculine”, I am referring to both patterns of socialization and various ways to identify and move about in the world. I will save the terms “male” and “female” to talk about anatomy, while recognizing that anatomy is also a spectrum that includes intersex individuals.
